You followed the ripple through the grass. Sky Lupine noticed, and left you this dare folded in petals.
Today, do something slowly.
Slower than necessary. Slower than polite.
Walk your neighborhood, but count to seven between each house.
At one stop sign, close your eyes and breathe in silence for 30 full seconds.
Find a patch of green or flowers. Say out loud:
“I belong to something larger. I am more than one thing."
Then go home and weave a tiny braid, collage, or paper chain—something made of many parts. Leave it in a public place for someone else to find.
Nature is so cool.
